I started Dartmoor Guided Horse Rides in 2022, combining my passion for horses & riding with my love for the unique beauty of Dartmoor. Having lived on Dartmoor and ridden across it for over 10 years, I've deeply explored this wild and wonderful terrain and done the hard work of getting lost, finding my way back, learning to navigate Dartmoor on horseback & finding the very best routes. I wanted to share this experience of Dartmoor with fellow riding adventurers.

Dartmoor Guided Riding Holidays - where adventure meets breathtaking Dartmoor landscapes. We offer one-day, three-day, and bespoke riding experiences across the beautiful & rugged terrain of Dartmoor. Come and discover the freedom that can be enjoyed riding through one of England’s most iconic landscapes.
Dartmoor in Devon is well over 300 square miles of vast open moorland, streams, rivers & woodlands & around 160 rocky tors, where feral Dartmoor ponies run wild with the other animals that live on Dartmoor, including many birds of prey. We ride amongst it all. Having a guide allows you to safely navigate the best of a Dartmoor safari with your horse while retaining the adventure and glory of this stunning part of the UK. For Bespoke rides, we can also include the option of an overnight stop in the Chagford/Gidleigh area. (See more on the accommodation page).

We are in an exceptionally well placed part of East Dartmoor covering the iconic areas of Haytor, Widecombe, Manaton & Hound tor with its medieval settlement ruins, where we ride through spectacular Tors.
